Data Protection and your privacy is very important to us, and as well as conforming to current regulations regarding this, we want to be very transparent in telling you what we do. More importantly than that, what we do with your personal information. We have attempted to show below why we gather personal information and what we do with it, but also communicating your rights regarding this.
We will collect your Full Name, Company Address, Company Phone Number, Company Mobile Phone and/or Private Mobile Number, Company or Private Email address. Depending on the method of payment, we may also collect your bank details, bank sort code and bank account number. Website usage information is collected using cookies.
Initially, we collect this information about you to process your order for our goods and services. As part of the goods and services we provide, it may be necessary to share some of this information with our strategic business partners which will be communicated to you during the opening meeting or meetings with you. Our strategic business partners may well contact you shortly afterwards but we advise that you should read their own privacy policies at your leisure. Please be aware that although the DPO is responsible for the information that is collected, Data Controllers (DC) will have access to your information but which will be used for the purposes of processing the order. For transparency, DC will be members of staff within the Company – eg. Sales Team Members, Administration, Support staff and Finance employees or representatives. Please be assured that these DC will be trained and briefed concerning Data Protection and the Regulations.
We will securely keep your information for the duration of the licence agreement and will approach you for renewing the licence agreement at an appropriate time. As part of our service to you, we would very much like the option of sending you other products and services the company has to offer including any future developments. This may include new developments to the existing service you have already signed up for.
We also use a service called HubSpot on our websites, which is a user interaction service. For example, if by making an inquiry into AccentNote via this service, you may provide information to us. It is with the intention of you signing up to AccentNote and in which case, the above policies will apply to your information. See section ‘Individuals or Businesses signing up to AccentNote.
Any information supplied via this service that does not materialise into an AccentNote Sale may be kept for a period of time but will not be used/or shared with any other party. Any HubSpot interactions/messages will be deleted after a period of 12 months unless specifically requested otherwise.
This also applies to all of the other products and services we offer through our Accent IT Services Ltd website – whether it is App Development, Website Building, Custom Graphics, Branding and Marketing and Business Infrastructure.
You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please email or write to us at the address above and below. We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate. In order to comply with your request, we will write to you within one calendar month. At the same time, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you think there is a problem with the way we are handling your data.
